While most of us worry about how our teeth appear (white enough? too crooked?), Drs. Bo and Christina Levitsky want to make sure your smile is as healthy and strong as it is bright. If your smile could use a boost, consider our cosmetic dentistry options at Mullica Hill Family Dental. Whether it’s a little whitening or more of a full smile makeover, we’ve got you covered. We offer Invisalign® and InvisalignTeen® in addition to whitening, bonding and veneers. The possibilities are endless!
Today’s fillings are constructed from durable porcelain or composite resin materials. They are safe, able to withstand normal wear and tear and withstand temperature changes with ease. Dr. Levitsky color-matches fillings with your natural teeth for a uniform, aesthetically pleasing look.
There are two types of dental bonding: direct composite bonding and adhesive bonding. Adhesive bonding attaches a separate restoration to a tooth and is the type of bonding used for restorative dentistry crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays. Adhesive bonding is also used for veneers. The type of bonding we’re talking about now is a cosmetic and restorative procedure called direct composite bonding.
Direct composite bonding is a minimally invasive smile makeover where a tooth-colored material—either a composite resin or a modifiable ceramic—is applied directly to the teeth. Once complete, this procedure restores and rejuvenates the teeth in appearance and structure. Unless it is being used to correct decay, the procedure rarely requires anesthesia and may be performed in just one visit!
Quick – Minimally Invasive—Looks Natural—Less Expensive than Other Restorations
Can Stain or Dull with Time—Breaks or Chips More Easily Than Other Restorations—Will Likely Require More Repair or Restoration Later
